Endbands and joints worn overall, with a long tear to the rear joint from the tail, a shorter tear to the front from the head, and both endbands fraying. Preliminary leaves lightly creased, with the interior remaining tight, bright and clean, and folded matter crisp. A well-preserved example overall. Provenance; bookplate of the Duchy of Lancaster.
