1891, First Edition. Paris : F. Didot et Cie. Good copy in contemporary half black leather over green marbled boards, both slightly scuffed, with front board detached. Corners bumped; panel edges with minor wear. Spine gilt-tooled with raised bands, now slightly rubbed, along with joints and endbands. Marbled endpapers. Preliminary leaves foxed; interior text block otherwise bright and clean. Pp. 11 and 17 show marginal crosswise tears without loss. Despite its faults, an attractive and strong copy. Item #467876
