1814, First Edition. Paris : Ve. Courcier. Good copies both in contemporary quarter green leather over green marble boards, now somewhat scuffed; corners bumped and panel edges rubbed. Spines gilt-blocked and showing wear, particularly to joints and endbands. Text blocks remain tight and strong; interior with a clean impression, showing age-toned margins and faint, sparse foxing only of age. Preliminary and final leaves more thoroughly foxed, with vol. 3 prelims slightly creased. A well-preserved pair overall. Item #467669
