Leeds : D. Banks, 1870. First Edition. Good copies only both with text blocks now loose in original covers of gilt-illustrated green cloth over bevelled boards. Covers somewhat scuffed and dust-dulled; corners, joints and endbands heavily rubbed and showing some tears. All edges gilt, with internal binding remaining strong; text block shows faint foxing throughout, chiefly to the margins. Each plate accompanied by a captioned tissue-guard and two pages of descriptive letterpress. A very serviceable set overall. Item #467391
