1924, First Edition. Berlin : Propyläen-Verlag. Very good copy bound in black cloth boards, with a printed spine label (lifting slightly), and corners now slightly bumped. First signature separating slightly at the head between half-title and title page. Blank bottom margins of some leaves show an ownership stamp ("Kurt Papsdorf"). Endpapers and pp. 431-34 faintly foxed, with the interior remaining otherwise tight, bright and clean. A well-preserved example overall. Provenance: from the library of Sir Lawrence Gowing.
