Glasgow : James MacLehose and Sons, 1903. First Edition. Good library set only in the original gilt-blocked blue cloth boards, now dust-dulled. Corners bumped; joints and endbands rubbed, some heavily. Vol. 5 spine lacking at medial rear joint. Vol. 10 heavily damp-damaged to exterior, text slightly rippled throughout; interior stains limited to prelims and margins, folded matter crisp. Vol. 11 with new endpapers and prelims damp-stained. All volumes' preliminary and final leaves lightly foxed, with some showing small areas of worming. Library and ownership marks to front endpapers and lower spines. Top edges gilt, if faded; on the whole, bindings remain secure with clean text and crisp folded matter. A very serviceable set overall. Item #466265
