New York : North American Publishing Co, 1886. First Edition. Good copy only in the original gilt-illustrated cloth over bevelled boards, now somewhat scuffed and dust-dulled. Extremities rubbed, with the tailband showing minor loss. Front hinge cracked with free endpaper torn at the gutter, but mull and spine supports holding secure. Binding cracked at the rear between pp. 654 and 655; both sides secure, with the final leaves slightly loose at the tail and rear hinge ragged.
