Boards show some damp and shadow stains; panel edges, joints, and endbands rubbed; headband of vol. 2 beginning to crumble. Inner dentelles and all text edges gilt; marbled endpapers. Text blocks tight; text leaves clean overall, with isolated faint foxing. Some plates moderately foxed, with faint damp-stain to outer margins (images unaffected).
