1858, First Edition. London ; New York : London Printing and Publishing Company. Good copy in contemporary half black leather over brown cloth boards, now somewhat dust-dulled. Both boards show some damp-stains, with the rear somewhat rippled. Corners, joints and endbands slightly rubbed. Text edges marbled, now fading. Preliminary and final leaves lightly foxed and with some minor rippling to the former. The core text block remains strong and clean; a well-preserved example overall. Item #465757
