1895, First Edition. Boston : E. A. Jones. Good copy in the original gilt-decorated sky blue cloth boards, now somewhat scuffed and dust-dulled. Cover edges, joints and endbands rubbed; corners slightly bumped. All edges gilt; both hinges cracked, with mull holding very secure. Some preliminary and final advertising leaves show manuscript sums in a contemporary hand. One advertising leaf is loose (but present). Except as noted, the text remains tight, bright and clean; a well-preserved example overall. Item #464649
