1813, First Edition. London : printed for the author by Nichols, Son, and Bentley. Good set only in contemporary plain boards, with paper spine labels, and now somewhat dust-dulled and rubbed at the edges. Corners bumped, with some tearing to endbands and joints. Volume 7 pt 1 spine cracked, with sewing broken between pp. 224 and 225; the two halves are coming apart. Volume 8 front joint broken, with spine cover pivoting on the rear, but binding holding secure throughout. Except as noted, text remains very well-preserved, showing only the faint offsetting and foxing expected of age. A very serviceable set overall. Item #464057
