Text block cracked between the Table of Contents and the Description of the Plates, with some leaves in this area coming loose. The binding remains otherwise strong and tight, with very clean text leaves. The plates (all collated and present) remain handsome, though some show light foxing, dust-dulling, or creased margins. Externally, the rear joint is entirely broken, with spine cover detached from the text block and pivoting on the front. The front hinge is crudely repaired, and both boards are covered in a permanent plastic sleeve. A very serviceable example overall, with both text and plates remaining strong.
