Very good copy in contemporary gilt-decorated red cloth over bevelled boards, now showing light scuffs and dust-dulling. Spine sun-faded and showing light wear to the endbands and joints. Edges, preliminary and final leaves somewhat foxed, with the interior remaining remarkably tight, bright and clean. Contemporary reader inscription (1925) to front free endpaper. A well-preserved copy overall. Provenance: bookplate of Baron Leverhulme of Bolton-le-Moors. Item #462992
