1893, First Edition. London : Longmans & Co. [etc]. Very good library copies, all in contemporary gilt-blocked black cloth boards, now with some light scuffs. Endbands and joints somewhat worn, with some minor tears. The preliminary and final leaves of some volumes are lightly foxed, with the Catalogue v.2 front free endpaper slightly torn at the outside margin; minor library marks remain. The interiors remain otherwise tight, bright and clean, with surprisingly sharp corners. A well-preserved set overall. Item #462987
