Red leather labels to second compartments, with the others gilt-decorated; six volumes now lacking their labels, and that of volume 3 lifting somewhat. Front board of volume 13 detached (but present). All volume covers show considerable wear consistent with age: scuffs and rubbing to extremities. Text blocks remain tight and clean overall, with foxing limited to peripheral leaves; some preliminary blanks slightly loose at head or tail. A strong and internally well-preserved set. Item #462410
