1933, First Edition. London : The Medici Society. Good, strong copy in the original title-blocked red cloth boards, now lightly scuffed and dust-dulled overall. Rear board shows substantial sun-toning, with spotted shadow stains around the margins. Text edges, preliminary and final leaves lightly foxed, with the interior remaining tight, bright and clean. Frontispiece retains its tissue-guard; a well-preserved copy overall. Provenance: from the library of Sir Lawrence Gowing. Item #462364
