Good, strong copies both in the original, large-format gilt-blocked blue cloth boards, now slightly dust-dulled and worn along the edges; corners lightly bumped. Spines faintly sun-toned and rubbed at the endbands. Text blocks tight, with plates retaining their tissue guards. Foxing scattered throughout, with medial leaves comparatively less affected. A well-preserved set overall. Provenance: bookplate of Lord Battersea. Item #462281
