1957, First Edition. Milan : "Silvana" Editoriale d'Arte. Very good copy in printed paper over boards, with a good if somewhat edge-torn (with some loss) and dust-dulled dust-wrapper. Boards slightly dust-dulled at the corners, and somewhat foxed around the spine. Endpapers show some isolated foxing, and there are some minor dust smudges to the prelims. The core text and plates remain well-preserved overall: tight, internally bright and clean, and with especially sharp corners. Provenance: from the library of Sir Lawrence Gowing.
