A geographical catechism of England & Wales : containing an accurate description of their situation, extent, divisions, population, soil, climate, mountains, rivers, lakes, canals, islands, and capes; also, the character of the inhabitants, religion, language, state of literature, government, revenue, naval and military forces, &c. with a compendious account of the chief towns, commerce, manufactures, vegetable, animal, and mineral productions of each country : for the use of schools
London : published by J. Souter; and Sharp, Romsey, 1825. Second Edition. Good copy in the original printed wrappers, now slightly dust-dulled and showing some tearing to corners, edges, and along the lower front joint. A leaf, presumably advertising, appears to be missing before the title page. The outer margin of the final two leaves is torn, with text very slightly affected (1-2 characters missing; the affected words are easily reconstructed). Except as noted, the copy is tight and clean, showing only the faint foxing and offsetting expected of age. A very serviceable copy. Item #461753
