1824, First Edition. Lincoln : printed and published by Bradbury and Dent. Good copy in the original printed boards, now scuffed and heavily dust-dulled, with minor damp-staining and heavy wear to the edges. Contemporary ink autographs to front endpapers; later pencil annotations to front board and both endpapers. Pages 59-83 show a small damp-stain to the upper margin (text unaffected). The remainder of the text block is notably bright and clean for its age, showing only the faintest foxing and dust-dulling. Page 11 coming loose at the bottom, with the text block remaining otherwise tight and very secure. A well-preserved volume from the period before the Reform Act. Item #461725
