Corners, endbands and joints slightly rubbed; scattered light spotting to front board volume 4, with a small abrasion next to the lower rear joint volume 2. Attractive if slightly faded marbled text edges. Some scattered foxing throughout volumes 1 and 2, with volumes 3 and 4 showing only faint foxing to the preliminary and final leaves. Contemporary reader autographs to front free endpapers. Remains a well-preserved set overall. Item #460637
