Spine, with raised bands gilt-tooled in the compartments, and joint areas sun-toned. Gilt-tooled ornamentation to the dentelles; all edges gilt. Marbled endpapers, with library label mounted to front pastedown. Prelims lightly foxed, with some faint, marginal foxing scattered internally. Frontispiece retains its tissue-guard. Remains a tight and very well-preserved copy overall. Item #459229
