Very good copies all in the original yellow cloth binding, with gilt-blocked red leather armorial motifs to the front boards and a title label of the same on the spines. Covers somewhat dust-dulled, with the spines sun-toned and slightly scuffed. Internally tight, bright and clean, with plates retaining their tissue guards. Remains a well-preserved set overall. This is no. 206 of a 312-set limited large-paper edition; it was printed for the Society of English Bibliophlists on Arnold's Fleur-de-Lys unbleached hand-made paper, with Freudenberg's plates printed on Japanese paper and mounted.
