1809, First Edition. London : Printed & sold by Rt. Birchall. A sound copy in a poor contemporary binding of half brown leather over marbled boards, with front panel detached, spine cover lacking, and rear hinge cracked (board held by sewing). Boards worn on the surfaces and edges; marble edges somewhat dust-toned and faded. Internally much better, with binding holding tight throughout and a clean internal impression; the text bears only the expected light foxing and dust-dulling of age. An internally strong and very serviceable reading copy. Item #456455
