1850, First Edition. Various. Poor copy in the original half calf over marble boards, in which the text block is now loose. The binding is shaken; in general, each composition is now loose, with some threading remaining between them. Externally worn, but sound; joints, head and foot of spine, and corners are worn, with light scuffs to the boards. The spine is gilt-blocked "Music," and somewhat rubbed. Small tear at the rear top joint. Some faint foxing internally, with some offsetting; leaves are strong overall. A very serviceable copy. Item #456374

Brandard; waltzes attributed to or associated with Carl Maria von Weber; polkas by William Henry Cooke and J.W. Marshall; and various other instrumental arrangements. The works reflect the popular musical tastes of the early Victorian era.
