1840, First Edition. Milano : Presso Gio. Ricordi. Good copy only in half off-white leather over marble boards, with paper label mounted to front. While structurally sound, the exterior is heavily worn with the lower fore-corners of both boards entirely abraded at the surface, the label partially worn away, and the spine somewhat stained with minor tearing at the ends. Front free endpaper is partly torn away; small damp-stain to title page. Text is slightly dust-dulled throughout and shaken in places, but secured by the sewing throughout. The leaves themselves remain strong. Despite ample evidence of use, a very serviceable copy. Item #456369
