Poor copy in the original gilt-blocked brown cloth boards, now somewhat dust-faded, with edges rubbed and corners slightly bumped. Lacking spine cover. Front hinge starting, with first signature (before t.p.) loose. Text otherwise shaken in places, but holding, and with a generally bright and clean impression. Some isolated, marginal foxing.
