1837, First Edition. London : Calkin and Budd. Good reading copy in a gilt-blocked dark blue cloth binding, slightly dust-dulled and somewhat rubbed along the edges. Minor tear to rear top joint. Binding cracked between flyleaf and title page, with spine detached and covers pivoting on rear hinge. Text block remains tight and clean overall, however, with some scattered marginal dust-dulling only. A very serviceable copy. Item #455711
