Boards dust-dulled, shadow-stained and somewhat scuffed. Interior torn at the spine (with all materials disbound as issued). Contemporary (1946) reader inscription to front pastedown. Lithograph plates are clean and strong, with only a suggestion of marginal dust-dulling. A very serviceable copy, with well-preserved artworks. This is no. 556 of a limited edition. Item #454473
