1860, Early Edition. London : Sunday School Union. Good copy in the contemporary half leather cloth, with the name "J. Griffiths" gilt-blocked to front panel. Covers sound, with spine and corners heavily rubbed, and some dust-dulling to the panels. The entire volume has a subtle crosswise warp through the middle as from storage, with binding unaffected. The two preliminary leaves have minor, localised worming. Dust-dulling and a suggestion of foxing to the margins throughout. Gift inscription to front free endpaper, dated 1869 from J. Griffiths to his nephew. A strong and tight copy, well-preserved overall. Item #454163
