1824, First Edition. London : Septimus Prowett. Poor copies in the original full diced aniline calf, with gilt-blocked labels to spine. Substantial wear to covers, particularly to panel edges, joints, and the spine. Some spine compartments missing, including v.1 volume label. Hinges weak, with v.2 front hinge starting. Some foxing throughout, chiefly to margins and prelims. Plates retain their tissue guards, with some tissues creased. Text blocks remain notably tight. A serviceable set, which is internally well-preserved overall. Item #451174
