London : J.W. Parker and Son, 1862. Third Edition. A sound and generally well-preserved set in full leather with raised bands and gilt-tooled spine compartments; marbled endpapers and edges in very good condition. The set's condition is variable: Volumes 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 12 are in very good condition. Front boards are entirely detached from v.9 and v.10 with some loss and loosening to panels. Volume 2 has significant panel loss, though its boards remain secure. Back board is substantially loosened but still attached to v.11; the panels of v.1, v.3, and v.8 are worn.
