1953, First Edition. N.P. The bookplates are all in a very good to fine condition, and mounted in a scrapbook with floral decorative boards. "The cover design of this book is taken from a detail of the 18th century French wallpaper at Clandon Park" --label inside front cover. Some minor dulling and rubbing around the cover edges. Remains particularly and surprisingly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and especially sharp-cornered. Further scans, images etc. and additional bibliographical material available on request. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 1 pages; A unique collection of original bookplates and bookinders' marks. Includes personal and library bookplates. In excess of 100 items are mounted on 15 leaves, with many more loosely inserted, or in plastic pockets. These are presumably for later insertion into the scrapbook, which also contains blank leaves.
