At the close of a full career in marketing and social psychology, Drazin retired to Hertfordshire, England and took up croquet. At some point he realized that though quite a bit of literature existed about the game, many items are very scarce and ill-documented. So he set about to identify and describe in detail all known specialist books and pamphlets. He found 403 titles, 493 subsequent editions and variants, and 158 patents. Most are in English but a few in other European and Asian languages. For each he includes the formula, technical notes, contents, binding, copy seen, fingerprint, and notes. He indexes titles, authors and other contributors, and publishers and printers; a subject index would be redundant. Fine cloth copy in an equally fine dw.
